A Decade of Divine Artistry: Inder Tent and Decorators’ Grand Durga Puja 2024 at Kali Mandir, Connaught Place
For over 10 years, Inder Tent and Decorators has been a name synonymous with tradition, elegance, and divine creativity in the world of festive decoration. In Durga Puja 2024, we proudly completed a decade of designing some of the most breathtaking and spiritually uplifting pandals — and this year’s celebration at the iconic Kali Mandir, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi, was our grandest yet.
🌸 Honoring 10 Glorious Years of Celebration
Since our first Durga Puja project, our mission has remained the same: to create spaces that blend devotion with design. Each year, we push the boundaries of creativity while staying rooted in tradition. In 2024, we honored our 10-year milestone with a celebration that reflected not only our experience but our passion for culture and community.
Held at one of the most spiritually significant venues in the capital, the Kali Mandir near Minto Bridge, our pandal welcomed thousands of devotees, families, and visitors who came to witness a celebration that was as heartfelt as it was artistic.
🎨 A Pandal Like No Other
Theme: “The Golden Temple of Light”, inspired by ancient temple architecture and enhanced with modern lighting techniques.
- Main Structure: Temple-style entrance made from eco-friendly bamboo and wood, lined with intricate cloth designs and traditional motifs.
- Idol of Maa Durga: A grand, handcrafted idol set against a lotus-shaped golden frame symbolizing purity and power.
- Backdrop & Decor: Hand-painted panels, mirror work, jute hangings, and soft fabric drapes created a divine ambiance.
💡 Lighting That Brought the Pandal to Life
- Morning: Gentle yellow hues and diya-style lights created a serene spiritual environment.
- Evening: Dynamic LED lighting shows added vibrance and color during the aarti and cultural programs.
- Night: Warm ambient lighting allowed the beauty of the pandal to shine under the stars.
🕉️ Cultural and Devotional Programs
Durga Puja is more than decoration — it’s about bringing people together through faith, art, and culture. Throughout the five days, our beautifully designed stage hosted:
- Classical dance and music performances
- Bhajans and devotional songs
- Dhunuchi dance competitions
- Children’s drama and cultural plays
All programs took place under decorative tents with floral ceilings, embroidered backdrops, and soft seating for guests.
🌿 Sustainable, Thoughtful Decoration
As part of our responsibility to the community and the environment, we made sure 2024’s celebration was eco-conscious:
- Reusable bamboo structures and fabric materials
- Plastic-free decorations
- Fresh flower installations sourced locally
- Minimal waste with proper disposal and recycling efforts
